Grandmothers are mothers who are grand,
Restoring the sense that our most precious things
Are those that do not change much over time.
No love of childhood is more sublime,
Demanding little, giving much on demand,
More inclined than most to grant the wings
On which we fly off to enchanted lands.
Though grandmothers must sometimes serve as mothers,
Helping out, or maybe taking over,
Each has all the patience wisdom brings,
Remembering our passions more than others,
Singing childish songs we long remember

Las abuelas son las madres que son grandes,
Restablecer el sentido de que nuestro bien más preciado cosas
Son aquellos que no cambian mucho con el tiempo.
Amor de la infancia no es más sublime,
Poco exigente, con mucho la demanda,
Más inclinada que la mayoría de la concesión de las alas
En el que volar a tierras encantado.
Aunque a veces las abuelas deben servir como madres,
Ayudando a los demás, o tal vez hacerse cargo de,
Cada uno tiene toda la paciencia trae sabiduría,
Recordando nuestras pasiones más que otros,
Canta las canciones infantiles que recordará durante mucho tiempo
